Retail Sales Associate

About This Role

The Part-Time Retail Sales Associate will join the FirstCash team, engaging with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions in a pawn store environment. This role contributes to creating a positive customer experience, handling cash, and maintaining the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions
• Perform non-management open/close procedures
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise display
• Perform sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies and regulatory requirements
• Handle all cash and negotiable items per established policies
• Answer incoming calls per company standards
• Effectively communicate to customers the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions
• Partner with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience
• Successfully complete assigned training

Requirements

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to perform duties and tasks for extended periods (standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting)
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently
• Computer literate and able to operate Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems and common office machines
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

• Cash handling experience
