Retail Receiving Support Associate

About This Role

This role is a Back of House colleague who supports store operations by maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing merchandise, and ensuring a smooth customer experience for a retail store.

Responsibilities

• Receive and organize merchandise
• Pick, pack, and retrieve orders from back-of-house storage
• Deliver orders curbside to customers
• Monitor alerts to ensure Ready on Time completion of Buy Online Pickup In-Store (BOPS) orders
• Help keep the stockroom and sales floor running efficiently
• Greet shoppers warmly and resolve issues
• Maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing
• Restock merchandise and support any needed merchandise moves
• Organize the stockroom and complete orders

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• Comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
• Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges
• Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours
• Ability to lift at least 30lbs.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders
• Ability to reach, including above eye level
• Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Frequent use of computers and other technology
