As a Retail Cosmetics Sales Associate, you will be the trusted beauty expert for customers, providing personalized shopping experiences to build confidence and drive sales. This role involves offering expert advice, conducting product demonstrations, and building lasting client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and teammates, ensure the sales floor is clean and organized
- Review sales goals and stay updated on new arrivals, trends, and promotions
- Focus on customer engagement, offering warm welcomes and personalized conversations
- Maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves
- Share Loyalty program benefits and ensure customer satisfaction at checkout
- Support teammates through honesty, care, and collaboration
- Strive for continuous improvement and achieve individual and store sales goals
- Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building customer relationships, uncovering needs, and demonstrating product application
- Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Drive sales and client loyalty using clienteling tools and participating in sales events
- Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
- Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools for transactions
Requirements
- Flexible availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays) with dependable attendance
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Ability to deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, uncovering needs, demonstrating products, and educating on benefits/use of beauty products
- Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Drive sales and client loyalty through maintaining an organized space, leveraging clienteling tools, and participating in sales events
- Meeting and surpassing daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
- Ability to effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools
- At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience
