Retail General Manager

About This Role

Lead and manage a Visionworks retail store, focusing on profitability and ensuring an excellent patient and customer journey. This role involves business management, associate development, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Maximize the store’s profitability while maintaining exceptional patient/customer experience by achieving financial and performance goals
• Engage regularly with the Doctor to discuss business needs, associates, and patient/customer experience
• Prepare and plan daily business operations by managing incoming traffic, doctor appointments, and scheduled eyewear services
• Hire, train, coach, develop, and support store associates to ensure flawless patient/customer experience
• Remove obstacles and find resolutions for patient/customer experience issues
• Lead, execute, and improve all operational activities to meet the store's financial and customer experience goals

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of related experience

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Three (3) or more years of related experience required

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s degree
• Optical management experience
