As a Fragrance Sales Associate at Macy's, you will create a welcoming environment for customers, offering personalized fragrance recommendations and demonstrating products. You will engage with customers, drive sales, and maintain a tidy sales floor to contribute to a seamless shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and create friendly, personal conversations to build relationships
- Engage customers with personalized fragrance recommendations and product demonstrations
- Educate customers on fragrance notes, layering techniques, and usage
- Maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages, and updating signs and pricing
- Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
- Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions
- Collaborate across the Beauty team to ensure customers discover the full range of products and services
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience
