About This Role

As a Fragrance Sales Associate at Macy's, you will create a welcoming environment for customers, offering personalized fragrance recommendations and demonstrating products. You will engage with customers, drive sales, and maintain a tidy sales floor to contribute to a seamless shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create friendly, personal conversations to build relationships
• Engage customers with personalized fragrance recommendations and product demonstrations
• Educate customers on fragrance notes, layering techniques, and usage
• Maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages, and updating signs and pricing
• Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
• Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
• Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions
• Collaborate across the Beauty team to ensure customers discover the full range of products and services

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• Comfortable communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience
