About This Role

As a Cosmetics Sales Associate, also known as a Beauty Advisor, you will serve as a trusted expert for customers seeking beauty advice. Your role involves creating personalized shopping experiences, driving sales by building client relationships, and staying current with beauty trends and products.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers
• Review daily sales goals, new arrivals, top-selling items, and current trends/promotions
• Offer a warm welcome, make eye contact, and engage in friendly, personal conversations with customers
• Maintain counter and sales floor, refresh signage and pricing, and assist with merchandise moves
• Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have all they need, and end with a sincere thank-you
• Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, uncovering needs, demonstrating product application, and educating on benefits
• Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized space, leveraging clienteling tools, and participating in sales events
• Meet and surpass daily sales goals
• Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
• Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience
