About This Role

As a Cosmetic Sales Colleague or Beauty Advisor, you will be the trusted expert for customers seeking beauty advice. You will create personalized shopping experiences, offer expert advice, conduct product demonstrations, and provide tailored consultations to drive sales and build lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and teammates, ensuring the sales floor is clean and organized
• Review sales goals and stay updated on new arrivals, trends, and promotions
• Focus on customer engagement, creating friendly and personal conversations
• Maintain a shoppable space by organizing the counter, refreshing signage, and assisting with merchandise moves
• Share Loyalty program benefits and ensure customer satisfaction with each transaction
• Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, demonstrating product application, and educating on beauty products
• Drive sales and client loyalty by utilizing clienteling tools and participating in sales events
• Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
• Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and promoting loyalty benefits
• Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools for transactions

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• Ability to deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, demonstrating product application, and educating on beauty products
• Ability to drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized space, leveraging clienteling tools, and staying updated through training
• Ability to meet and surpass daily sales goals
• Ability to acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
• Ability to effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools
• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience
