As a Beauty Advisor, you will serve as a trusted expert for customers seeking beauty advice. You will create personalized shopping experiences, offer expert advice, conduct product demonstrations, and provide tailored consultations to drive sales and build lasting client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Greet teammates, ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers
- Review sales goals, new arrivals, top-selling items, current trends and promotions
- Offer warm welcome to customers, make eye contact, and create friendly, personal conversations
- Maintain a shoppable space by organizing the counter and sales floor, refreshing signage and pricing, and assisting with merchandise moves
- Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customer satisfaction, and thank customers
- Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, uncovering needs, demonstrating product application, and educating on benefits
- Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized space, leveraging clienteling tools, participating in sales events, and ongoing training
- Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
- Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Ability to deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships with customers, uncovering their needs, demonstrating product application, and educating them on the benefits and use of beauty products
- Ability to drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized and shoppable space, leveraging clienteling tools to promote offers and product launches, participating in sales events, and staying up to date through ongoing training and vendor education
- Ability to meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
- Ability to acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Ability to effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience
- At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience
