About This Role

As a Cosmetic Sales Associate, also known as a Beauty Advisor, you will serve as a trusted expert for customers, providing personalized consultations, product demonstrations, and driving sales. You will build and manage a loyal client base by offering expert advice and staying current on beauty trends.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers
• Review sales goals and stay updated on new arrivals, top-selling items, and current beauty trends
• Engage customers with warm welcomes and create friendly, personal conversations to build relationships
• Maintain the counter and sales floor, refresh signage and pricing, and assist with merchandise moves
• Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customer satisfaction, and end interactions with a sincere thank-you
• Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, uncovering needs, demonstrating product application, and educating on product benefits
• Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized space, leveraging clienteling tools, participating in sales events, and continuous training
• Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
• Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
• Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors in English
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience
