About This Role

As a Cosmetic Sales Colleague, you will serve as a trusted beauty expert, providing personalized shopping experiences to customers, offering expert advice, product demonstrations, and tailored consultations to drive sales and build lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers.
• Review sales goals and stay updated on new arrivals, top-selling items, current trends, and promotions.
• Offer a warm welcome, make eye contact, and engage in friendly, personal conversations to build customer relationships.
• Maintain a shoppable space by organizing the counter and sales floor, refreshing signage and pricing, and assisting with merchandise moves.
• Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have everything they need, and end with a sincere thank-you.
• Support teammates with honesty, care, and collaboration.
• Strive to improve daily, take pride in work, achieve sales goals, and learn from colleagues.
• Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
• Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, uncovering needs, demonstrating product application, and educating on beauty products.
• Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized space, leveraging clienteling tools, participating in sales events, and continuous learning.
• Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service.
• Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
• Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions.

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to walk, talk, lift at least 25lbs, constantly move, stand, and reach
• Ability to perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, reaching above eye level
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash register
• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience
