As a Beauty Advisor at Macy's, you will act as a trusted expert for customers seeking beauty advice. Your role involves providing personalized consultations, product demonstrations, and building lasting client relationships to drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers
• Review sales goals and stay updated on trends and promotions
• Engage customers with a warm welcome and create friendly, personal conversations
• Maintain a shoppable space by organizing the counter and sales floor
• Refresh signage and pricing, and assist with merchandise moves
• Share Loyalty program benefits and process transactions efficiently
• Support teammates with honesty, care, and collaboration
• Strive to improve daily, achieve sales goals, and learn from colleagues

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• Ability to deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships with customers
• Proficiency in uncovering customer needs, demonstrating product application, and educating on beauty products
• Ability to drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized space and leveraging clienteling tools
• Capability to meet and surpass daily sales goals
• Responsibility for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
• Effective use of point-of-sale technology and digital tools
• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience
