As a Retail Cosmetics Sales Associate at Macy's, you will act as a Beauty Advisor, providing personalized beauty experiences, conducting product demonstrations, and offering tailored consultations to customers to drive sales and build lasting client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Engage, educate, and sell with confidence by staying updated on sales goals, new arrivals, trends, and promotions
- Welcome customers warmly and build friendly, personal conversations to foster lasting relationships
- Maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves
- Share Loyalty program benefits and ensure customer satisfaction to finish sales strong
- Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, uncovering needs, demonstrating product application, and educating on beauty products
- Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and promoting loyalty benefits
- Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized space, using clienteling tools, and participating in sales events
- Meet and surpass daily sales goals by providing exceptional service
- Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience
