About This Role

As a Retail Cosmetics Sales Associate, you will serve as a Beauty Advisor, creating personalized and inspiring shopping experiences, educating customers on beauty products, and driving sales by building lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers
• Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals, and stay updated on trends and promotions
• Offer a warm welcome, make eye contact, and create friendly, personal conversations to build customer relationships
• Maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor and fitting rooms, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves
• Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have all they need, and end with a sincere thank-you
• Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, uncovering needs, demonstrating product application, and educating on benefits
• Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
• Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized space, leveraging clienteling tools, participating in sales events, and continuous training
• Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
• Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• Ability to deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, uncovering needs, demonstrating product application, and educating on beauty products
• Ability to acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
• Ability to drive sales and client loyalty
• Ability to meet and surpass daily sales goals
• Ability to effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools
• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience
