About This Role

As a Retail Cosmetics Sales Associate, you will serve as a beauty advisor, building relationships with customers and driving sales through personalized consultations, product demonstrations, and expert advice. You will create an inspiring shopping experience, educate customers on products, and maintain a client base to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers
• Review sales goals and stay updated on arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions
• Focus on customer engagement, offering a warm welcome, making eye contact, and creating personal conversations
• Maintain a shoppable space, refresh signage and pricing, and assist with merchandise moves
• Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customer satisfaction, and provide a sincere thank-you
• Support colleagues with honesty, care, and collaboration
• Improve daily, take pride in work, achieve sales goals, and learn from others
• Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, uncovering needs, demonstrating application, and educating on benefits
• Drive sales and client loyalty using clienteling tools, promoting offers, participating in events, and staying updated through training
• Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
• Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
• Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools for transactions

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• Ability to deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships with customers
• Ability to drive sales and client loyalty
