Retail Cosmetics Sales Associate

About This Role

As a Beauty Advisor, you will serve as a trusted expert for cosmetic sales, providing personalized shopping experiences to customers, conducting product demonstrations, and offering tailored beauty consultations.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers
• Review sales goals and stay updated on new arrivals, top-selling items, current trends, and promotions
• Offer a warm welcome to customers, make eye contact, and engage in friendly conversations to build relationships
• Maintain a shoppable space by organizing the counter and sales floor, refreshing signage, and assisting with merchandise moves
• Share Loyalty program benefits and process customer transactions
• Acquire new credit accounts and share loyalty benefits
• Use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions
• Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building customer relationships, demonstrating product application, and educating on benefits
• Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized space, leveraging clienteling tools, and participating in sales events
• Meet and surpass daily sales goals by providing exceptional service

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• Drive sales and client loyalty
• Meeting and surpassing daily sales goals
• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience
