About This Role

As a Retail Cosmetics Sales Associate, also known as a Beauty Advisor, you will serve as a trusted expert for customers seeking beauty advice. Your role involves providing personalized shopping experiences, product demonstrations, and tailored consultations to build confidence and drive sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and customers, ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared
• Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions
• Engage, educate, and sell with confidence to customers on the floor
• Maintain a shoppable space by organizing the counter, refreshing signage and pricing, and assisting with merchandise moves
• Share Loyalty program benefits and process transactions using point-of-sale technology
• Build client relationships through consistent follow-up, virtual outreach, and personalized service
• Deliver personalized beauty experiences by demonstrating product application and educating on benefits
• Drive sales and client loyalty by leveraging clienteling tools and participating in sales events
• Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• Ability to meet and surpass daily sales goals
• Ability to effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience required
