About This Role

As a Retail Cosmetics Sales Associate, also known as a Beauty Advisor, you will serve as a trusted expert for customers seeking beauty advice. Your role involves providing personalized consultations, offering product demonstrations, and building lasting client relationships to drive sales and enhance customer confidence.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates with a warm hello and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers
• Review sales goals and stay updated on new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions
• Offer a warm welcome, make eye contact, and create friendly, personal conversations with customers
• Maintain a shoppable space by organizing the counter and sales floor, and refreshing signage and pricing
• Assist with merchandise moves to support a seamless customer experience
• Share Loyalty program benefits and ensure customers have all they need, ending with a sincere thank-you
• Provide personalized beauty experiences by building relationships, uncovering needs, and demonstrating product application
• Educate customers on the benefits and use of beauty products
• Drive sales and client loyalty by using clienteling tools and participating in sales events
• Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service
• Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
• Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience
