About This Role

As a Beauty Advisor, you will serve as a cosmetic sales colleague and trusted beauty expert, offering personalized and inspiring shopping experiences to build confidence and drive sales for Macy's.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers
• Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals, top-selling items, and stay updated on trends and promotions
• Focus on the customer, offering a warm welcome and engaging in personal conversations to build relationships
• Maintain a shoppable space by maintaining counters and sales floor, refreshing signage and pricing, and assisting with merchandise moves
• Share Loyalty program benefits and ensure customers have all they need, ending with a sincere thank-you
• Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building customer relationships, uncovering needs, demonstrating product application, and educating on product benefits
• Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized space, leveraging clienteling tools, and participating in sales events
• Meet and surpass daily sales goals by providing exceptional service
• Acquire new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
• Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions

Requirements

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• At least 1 year of customer service or selling experience
