Retail Banker II Float

About This Role

This role is a customer-facing position integral to delivering TD's brand promise by providing financial expertise and consultative advice on personal banking solutions. The Retail Banker II Float contributes to achieving business objectives by identifying appropriate TD solutions to help customers reach their financial goals. This position requires the ability to work in multiple locations and contexts.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert for customers and colleagues on all TD products, services, policies, and procedures, especially regarding personal and business banking
• Make product recommendations based on Customer needs and highlight product features and benefits
• Utilize Customer Relationship Management tools to proactively identify customer solutions and lead focused outbound sales activities
• Evaluate issues, errors, and problems based on practices, precedents, or procedures
• Build working relationships with customers and related teams
• Participate in Customer outreach, servicing, and advice activities
• Engage in conversations with customers about loan products and facilitate application intake
• Maintain active registration status with NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry)
• Deliver the Legendary Experience by helping Customers, building relationships, and providing service and advice
• Understand and support the Bank's Customer Service Strategy
• Serve as a Customer advocate in providing resolution, proactive tips, and insights on saving time & money
• May perform a variety of teller transactions including check cashing, deposits, transfers, and withdrawals

Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of related experience
• Ability to work in multiple locations and contexts
• Superior Customer Service skills
• Strong organization skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to schedule and prioritize work
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and within deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to provide community services including Financial Education classes

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 2 year degree preferred
• 2+ years of related experience required

Nice to Have

• 2 year degree
• Teller experience
• Notary License
