IT Solutions Designer

About This Role

This role is for an IT Solutions Designer who will lead the creation of comprehensive end-to-end detailed solutions. The designer will be accountable for the technical design and delivery of System Design Specifications, focusing on large-scale, complex, or enterprise projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of a comprehensive end-to-end detailed solution
• Accountable for the technical design and delivery of the System Design Specification (SDS)
• Perform complex to difficult technical tasks independently
• Serve as subject matter expert in at least one area of discipline and consult with clients/project teams
• Lead the development of detailed, complex and/or comprehensive project plans
• Provide technical guidance to help resolve issues within area of expertise

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
• 5-7 years related experience
• Advanced knowledge of business, technical environment, processes, tools, programming languages, operating systems, and solutions design
• Proficiency with Java, Node JS, Kafka
• Understanding of Full Stack Development

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
• 5-7 years related experience; 5+ years with Cards Technology, Data Integration, Core Processor Understanding (Fiserv or TSYS); 5+ years with TSYS Digital Engagement and Consumer Issuing API endpoints; 5+ years with Agile Development Methodology

Nice to Have

• 5+ years of experience working within Cards Technology, focused on Data Integration and Core Processor Understanding (either Fiserv or TSYS)
• 5+ years of experience working with TSYS Digital Engagement and Consumer Issuing API endpoints
• Detailed understanding of TSYS Processing Platform required for Integration Initiatives
• Data Conversion experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead Integration Initiatives independently with minimal supervision
