This Retail Assistant Store Manager role involves overseeing daily store operations and promoting a positive environment. Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers and rapidly addressing issues
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards
• Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels
• Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and property safety procedures
• Administer store processes and procedures including inventory, loan management, and merchandising
• Evaluate store financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting
• Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of loans
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development
• Communicate clearly with employees to ensure understanding of store mission and profit objectives
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager

Requirements

• Six (6+) months of management/3rd key experience
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Computer literate and able to operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and common office machines
• Cash handling experience

• Six (6+) months of management/3rd key experience; cash handling experience is required.
