About This Role

The Restaurant Manager oversees the daily operations of a Whataburger restaurant, including managing staff, ensuring customer service, and maintaining food quality and health compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front-of-house restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, customer service, and presentation of the dining room
  • Manage the kitchen team to ensure timely and quality food delivery and resolve service issues
  • Hire, train, and retain talent to deliver extraordinary customer service
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and order restaurant supplies to ensure adequate stock levels and prevent stock-outs
  • Ensure profitability for the restaurant working with Operating Partners on financial reports and budget management
  • Provide guidance on cleaning, sanitation, and food safety procedures
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and training

Requirements

  • 1+ years of restaurant leadership experience

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED, or equivalent work experience
  • 1+ years of restaurant leadership experience

Nice to Have

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Food Handlers Certification
  • Food Safety Certification
