Remote Data Engineer

About This Role

This data engineer will construct data processing pipelines for proprietary brands and partnerships, contributing to a Homogenized Multi-Tenant Data Warehouse. The role involves transforming existing data into a unified platform for analytics and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Construct data processing pipelines for proprietary brands and key partnerships
• Contribute to the development of a Homogenized Multi-Tenant Data Warehouse
• Transform existing data from diverse enterprise systems into a unified data platform
• Master upstream processes, pipelines, and source systems
• Collaborate with various functional units for successful deployment, operation, and maintenance of solutions
• Provide operational support for production data pipelines and data triaging

Requirements

• 4-6 years of data engineering experience
• SQL Expert
• 2+ years of experience with AWS
• 2+ years of experience working on Spark/SparkSQL using Scala/Python to build and maintain complex ETL pipelines
• 2+ years of experience with Databricks
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD processes
• Strong communication and business acumen
• Experience providing operational support for the production data pipelines and data triaging

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of data engineering experience
