About This Role

This role offers independent veterinary contractors complete career flexibility, allowing them to provide high-quality veterinary care through Vetco's accessible clinics and hospitals. The veterinarian maintains autonomy over their schedule and compensation while focusing on patient care.

Responsibilities

Perform wellness examinations, preventive vaccinations, and administer medications
Conduct heartworm testing and microchip insertion
Perform diagnostic workups and outpatient surgeries
Execute dental procedures
Administer blood draws and vaccines
Focus on delivering best-in-class patient care and experience

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions including the ability to perform blood draws & administer vaccines
Ability to provide Professional Liability Insurance + license defense policy
Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
