About This Role

This role offers total career flexibility as an independent veterinary contractor providing high-quality veterinary care in Vetco Total Care Hospitals. You will perform preventive care, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures, focusing on patient experience with support from trained staff.

Responsibilities

• Select preferred shifts with flexible online booking for work-life balance
• Determine personal rate for each relief shift chosen
• Continue practice activities outside of Vetco Total Care Hospital shifts with no agency fees
• Deliver high-quality medical care and patient experience
• Perform preventive care, diagnostic workups, outpatient surgeries, and dental procedures
• Partner with the area medical director to review cases before shifts

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine state license in good standing
• Appropriate state-specific licensing to perform all shift functions
• DEA in good standing
• Ability to provide professional liability insurance + license defense policy
• Compliance with all local state and federal mandates
