Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for a 7th-grade student in an Edison, NJ school setting, managing diverse medical needs including asthma, G-tube feedings, catheter care, and seizure response.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized nursing care to a student with diverse medical needs
- Manage asthma care and monitor respiratory status
- Administer G-tube feedings and catheter care
- Assist with toileting and diapering
- Respond to seizure activity with appropriate intervention
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric patients
- Competency in asthma management and seizure care
- Skilled in performing G-tube feedings and catheterization
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and family members
