Registered Nurse School Setting

About This Role

Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing care for a 7th-grade student in an Edison, NJ school setting, managing diverse medical needs including asthma, G-tube feedings, catheter care, and seizure response.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to a student with diverse medical needs
• Manage asthma care and monitor respiratory status
• Administer G-tube feedings and catheter care
• Assist with toileting and diapering
• Respond to seizure activity with appropriate intervention

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric patients
• Competency in asthma management and seizure care
• Skilled in performing G-tube feedings and catheterization
• Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and family members
