About This Role

Provide direct medical care and supervision to students with specialized medical needs across various educational settings in a contract school nursing role for the current school year.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage seizures
• Administer g-tube feedings and medications
• Ride the bus with students to provide medical support
• Support multiple classrooms when students are not in attendance
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure student safety and health across programs
• Utilize skills in tracheostomy and diabetic care within Structured Learning Environment and Transition Programs

Requirements

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current licensure
• Possession of a Professional Educator License (PEL)

Nice to Have

• Experience in school nursing and specialized medical procedures related to seizures, g-tubes, tracheostomies, and diabetes
• Ability to work across various school programs and environments
