Supervise nursing operations and staff at Riverside Smithfield Hospital, ensuring smooth and effective patient care. Coordinate staffing levels and resources, assisting team members with policies and procedures to deliver high-quality healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Delegate and prioritize tasks to facilitate quality patient care and ensure needs are met
- Recognize and respond to emergency situations
- Recognize and report variances and provide resolutions regarding nursing errors and complaints
- Educate staff on policies, procedures, best practices, and strategic goals, demonstrating positive nursing leadership
- Direct the administration and operation of the hospital efficiently, effectively, and professionally
- Round on all units to assist in planning nursing care, evaluating effectiveness, and problem-solving
- Make sound judgments in staffing/patient care needs and decisions related to changes
- Accurately complete required documentation consistent with RHS standards
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- CPR/BLS Certification
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (Required), Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- Acute Care experience preferred
