Registered Nurse (RN) - Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise nursing operations and staff at Riverside Smithfield Hospital, ensuring smooth and effective patient care. Coordinate staffing levels and resources, assisting team members with policies and procedures to deliver high-quality healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Delegate and prioritize tasks to facilitate quality patient care and ensure needs are met
• Recognize and respond to emergency situations
• Recognize and report variances and provide resolutions regarding nursing errors and complaints
• Educate staff on policies, procedures, best practices, and strategic goals, demonstrating positive nursing leadership
• Direct the administration and operation of the hospital efficiently, effectively, and professionally
• Round on all units to assist in planning nursing care, evaluating effectiveness, and problem-solving
• Make sound judgments in staffing/patient care needs and decisions related to changes
• Accurately complete required documentation consistent with RHS standards

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN)
• CPR/BLS Certification

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Required), Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
• Acute Care experience preferred
