About This Role

This Waitstaff role provides exceptional food and dining service to residents and their guests at Riverside Health, ensuring a memorable experience while adhering to dietary restrictions and maintaining high standards of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide service exceeding expectations, greeting and seating residents/guests, and delivering meals graciously and on time
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure accurate order preparation and seamless meal service
• Complete daily opening and closing side work, restock supplies, and prepare cold food items as applicable
• Accurately assemble resident trays according to menu/tray ticket information and dietary restrictions
• Exhibit knowledge of menu details, resident accounting procedures, and utilize Food Service software/hardware for order taking
• Adhere to all quality controls and policies pertaining to Dining Services
• Follow safe food handling practices, including glove use, hair restraints, labeling, dating, temperature monitoring, and food rotation
• Execute proper techniques for serving and clearing tables, and perform table setup/breakdown with proper sanitation procedures
• Assist in maintaining the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident
• Manage time effectively, be punctual, and work in the facility-approved uniform for all scheduled shifts

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year customer service in a hospitality environment is preferred

Nice to Have

• 1 year customer service in a hospitality environment
