Registered Nurse (RN)

About This Role

PAM Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care using the nursing process within a rehabilitation hospital setting. This role involves interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family education for post-hospitalization care.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care
• Engage in interdisciplinary planning
• Conduct discharge planning for patients
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization care
• Access community resources for patients
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse responsibilities (requires ACLS certification)

Requirements

• Current RN License in the state of Texas
• Current BLS certification

Qualifications

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments
• Higher comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines, etc.
• 2 years of experience in direct patient care
