Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology Infusion

About This Role

Provide comprehensive and compassionate patient care in an oncology infusion center for patients undergoing cancer treatment and those with hematologic disorders. Utilize the nursing process and evidence-based practice to deliver safe, therapeutic care.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
• Use evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Advocate for patient needs
• Uphold professional practice standards to promote optimal health outcomes

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Minimum of one year of RN experience in an acute care setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Minimum of one year of RN experience in an acute care setting
