About This Role

Assess and direct comprehensive nursing care using telephone triage protocols for a diverse patient population within a call center environment, providing clinical solutions and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Perform telephone triage with diverse patient population
• Assess needed care and collaborate with patients to provide clinical solutions
• Provide comprehensive nursing assessment in an untraditional nursing environment
• Actively participate in team conferences and help assess patient education needs
• Notify each practice, physician, and/or managed care client of all encounters before office opening
• Notify designated leadership of operational concerns

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of applicable state
• Must apply for and maintain a South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS required per policy guidelines

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing

Nice to Have

• BSN preferred
• Experience in telephone triage
• Experience in pediatrics
• Experience in ED triage
