Assess and direct comprehensive nursing care using telephone triage protocols for a diverse patient population within a call center environment, providing clinical solutions and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Perform telephone triage with diverse patient population
- Assess needed care and collaborate with patients to provide clinical solutions
- Provide comprehensive nursing assessment in an untraditional nursing environment
- Actively participate in team conferences and help assess patient education needs
- Notify each practice, physician, and/or managed care client of all encounters before office opening
- Notify designated leadership of operational concerns
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of applicable state
- Must apply for and maintain a South Carolina Registered Nurse license
- BLS required per policy guidelines
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
Nice to Have
- BSN preferred
- Experience in telephone triage
- Experience in pediatrics
- Experience in ED triage
