Registered Nurse (RN) - Medicine ICU

About This Role

Provide critical care to patients with complex medical issues in a 16-bed Medicine Intensive Care Unit. Utilize advanced technologies and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage conditions like respiratory and kidney failure, sepsis, and gastrointestinal bleeding.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with a wide range of complex, highly acute medical issues
• Utilize advanced technologies and devices including CRRT and ECMO
• Manage conditions such as respiratory failure, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver injury/failure, kidney injury/failure, sepsis, and drug and alcohol withdrawal
• Practice at the top of your license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices

Requirements

• Current Connecticut RN License
• BSN required
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to date of hire

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN Required)
• Minimum one year acute care Registered Nurse experience strongly preferred; Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply.
