This Registered Nurse (RN) position at Detroit Medical Center involves providing comprehensive patient care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and supervising patient care activities. Responsibilities
- Manage and provide patient care activities for a group of patients and their families
- Apply independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members, including ancillary and support services
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers
- Delegate, assess, provide, and evaluate patient care
- Provide and delegate patient care activities to team members
- Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge
- Report directly to senior unit management and participate in shared decision-making activities
Requirements
- Graduation from a school of nursing
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
Qualifications
- Graduation from a school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
