Registered Nurse (RN) - Hospice PRN

About This Role

Administer skilled care to patients requiring intermittent professional services, teaching patients, families, and healthcare team members. Perform services according to physician's orders and established plans of care in a home-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer skilled care to patients requiring intermittent professional services
• Teach the patient, family, and other members of the health care team
• Perform services in accordance with the physician’s orders and the established plan of care (POC)

Requirements

• Licensed in the state where they currently practice as an RN
• At least one year experience as a licensed professional
• Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device
• Valid state driver license
• Automobile liability insurance as required by law
• Dependable transportation in good working condition
• Ability to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
• CPR certification for the healthcare provider

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of clinical education
• At least one year of experience as a licensed professional

Nice to Have

• Medicare home health or hospice experience
