Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

About This Role

Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing angiography and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures before, during, and after the process, including structural heart, interventional radiology, and neuro/vascular patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care of cardiac catheterization, structural heart, interventional radiology, diagnostic/planned intervention neuro, vascular, and EP pacemaker/device patients
• Calculate cardiac output and perform hemodynamic monitoring
• Set up procedures and operate life-saving equipment such as intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and Impella
• Transfer patients, stock supplies, and perform basic office procedures
• Scrub cases
• Record all pertinent information on appropriate data sheets
• Assist Radiologic Technologists circulate cases
• Sterilly drop procedural supplies on tray

Requirements

• Cath Lab RN Experience
• Experience with Patient Sedation

• Epic EMR Experience
