Registered Nurse (RN) - 3C/Telemetry

About This Role

Implement and evaluate patient care plans, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and ensure patient safety and well-being as a Registered Nurse in a 3C/Telemetry unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform an age-specific plan of care for designated patients using the nursing process
• Collaborate with physicians and other health team members in coordinating and implementing procedures and treatments
• Assess the patient’s physiologic and psychosocial health status
• Identify patient outcomes and formulate a plan of care to achieve expected outcomes
• Implement the plan of care, maintaining constant vigilance over patients to ensure safety precautions are followed
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications correctly and safely
• Keep accurate documentation of patient’s treatment, activity, condition, and responses
• Participate in patient and family education, providing discharge instructions and referrals
• Perform preventive skin care measures and various procedures related to skin care
• Act rapidly and effectively during emergency situations

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, preferred.
