A healthcare opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Medical-Surgical Oncology to provide expert care in an oncology clinic setting. This contract position offers the chance to apply your clinical skills in infusion therapy and oncology nursing within a supportive environment focused on patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and other infusion treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient responses and manage side effects related to oncology therapies
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, pharmacists, and supportive care staff
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, side effects, and self-care
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of treatments and patient progress
• Adhere strictly to safety standards and infection control protocols

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology nursing, with infusion therapy competence
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in oncology nursing, with infusion therapy competence

Nice to Have

• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification
• Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) certification
