This Registered Nurse will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized, high-quality care to patients within a Medical Mental Health team. The role offers collaboration with various healthcare professionals and opportunities for independent work and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients
- Create and deliver high-quality individualized patient care
- Collaborate with a comprehensive care group including Physicians, Case Managers, Social Workers, Patient Care Techs, Phlebotomy, and Therapy specialists
- Understand patient preferences, identify care issues and health conditions
- Spot irregularities in patient's behavior
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare staff
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
- Strong desire to help others
- Compassion, patience, and empathy
- Detail-oriented and critical-thinking skills
- Team player with elite communication skills
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Entry level, new graduates welcome
