Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs including mental, physical, and spiritual aspects to develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to implement and evaluate patient care strategies.
• Administer moderate sedation safely and monitor patient responses throughout procedures.
• Communicate clearly with patients and their families to explain treatments and care instructions.
• Utilize clinical judgment to identify and report significant changes in patient conditions promptly.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and education initiatives.

Requirements

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse License
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Demonstrated expertise in moderate sedation and interventional radiology nursing
• Effective communication skills and the ability to manage workplace conflict professionally
• Commitment to maintaining high quality patient care and adhering to core measure responsibilities.
