Registered Nurse - Heart Stress Tests

About This Role

This role involves planning and coordinating patient care, including assessments, education, and various nursing interventions, within the CV Diagnostics department, using medication and equipment for heart stress tests, echos, and ultrasounds. It requires compassionate, detail-oriented registered nurses to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate patient care, assessment, education, triage and various other nursing interventions
• Collaborate with colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement and evaluate care
• Empathetically care for patients during all stages of preventive services, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up along the continuum of care
• Demonstrate competency and use comprehensive nursing expertise

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
• ICU, ER or cardiac experience
