About This Role

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room, utilizing the nursing process and maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. Coordinate patient care with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care
  • Maintain professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients
  • Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers
  • Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information

Requirements

  • Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
  • Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
  • Basic Life Support certification (AHA BLS) or completion within 30 days of hire

Qualifications

  • Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
