Registered Nurse Endoscopy PRN

About This Role

This Registered Nurse (RN) role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, utilizing technology and evidence-based practice within the Endoscopy department at McKay Dee Hospital. The RN will support physicians during procedures and ensure smooth operations in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients
• Utilize the nursing process with technology, therapeutic intervention, and evidence-based practice
• Coordinate care with other health team members
• Provide exceptional patient care in the Endoscopy department
• Support physicians during procedures
• Help ensure smooth operations in a collaborative environment

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
• Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of employment
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
