About This Role

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care as a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse in a progressive care unit. Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care according to established standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures
• Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum
• Manage titratable cardiac drips and bi-pap for cardiac, medical, and surgical patients
• Assess post-op and post ICU patients

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing

• ACLS recommended within 6 months of hire
