This role involves providing holistic, quality, and cost-effective nursing care for patients and families within the Labor & Delivery unit at Hartford Hospital. The Registered Nurse will apply the nursing process and function as a clinically competent professional, contributing to the organization's comprehensive healthcare network.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic, quality and cost-effective nursing care for patients/families and/or others for a patient population within a unit, service or other primary area of practice with an awareness of the episode of care
- Apply the nursing process within the context of the organization's Framework for Professional Practice
- Function as clinically competent
- Delegate and supervise work appropriately
Requirements
- Current Connecticut RN License
- Minimum 1-3 years experience as RN
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school ASN Required
- BLS from the American Heart Association
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school ASN Required, BSN preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years experience as RN, OB experience preferred

- OB experience
- Previous Labor & Delivery experience
