Registered Nurse - 3B Acute Inpatient

About This Role

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with a person-centered approach on the 3B unit, collaborating with healthcare professionals and educating patients and families. You will operate in a dynamic environment with continuous learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with a variety of needs, using a person-centered care approach
• Develop and effectively prioritize patient care that is both expected and unanticipated
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and patients
• Demonstrate competence in technical skills required for patient care
• Remain current in organizational and departmental policies, procedures, and standards
• Evaluate effectiveness of care giving and show follow through on delivery
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills by making appropriate clinical decisions
• Proactively address actual and potential problems
• Execute compliant clinical documentation
• Assist with educating patients and families and serve as a resource on department standards for patient care

Requirements

• Current NYS Registered Nurse license or eligible
• Must obtain BLS certification prior to completion of the introductory period
• Must obtain ACLS certification prior to completion of the introductory period
