Provide one-on-one Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy to young children with autism, implement intervention plans, and foster strong relationships with families, contributing to a mission-driven care model.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in the clinic, adhering to professional standards
- Implement intervention plans crafted by expert BCBAs, ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles
- Foster relationships with families, consistently updating them on their child's progress within the ABA framework
- Engage in ongoing training and development, keeping up-to-date with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification
- Previous experience with children
- Enjoyment working with children
- Ability to work on a team
- Reliable transportation to training location and local center
- Punctuality
- Able to meet physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances
Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent
Nice to Have
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree program
- Degree in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
