This role involves working one-on-one with children aged 2-6 using a play-based approach to teach new skills and support growth, directly impacting children's lives.
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children aged 2-6 in our clinic, using play to teach new skills and support growth
- Implement therapy plans designed by Masters-level clinicians using play-based ABA principles
- Encourage social, communication, and learning skills through engaging activities and routines
- Support and partner with families by sharing updates and celebrating progress
- Participate in ongoing training and supervision to grow skills and maintain RBT certification
Requirements
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within first 6 weeks of employment
- Reliable transportation to training location and local center
- Punctuality
- Ability to sit/kneel on the floor, lift up to 50 lbs., and move quickly to support a child’s needs
- Comfort using computers and tablets for session notes
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn
Qualifications
- High school diploma, or equivalent
- Prior experience with children in any setting (teaching, child care, coaching, etc.) is a plus
Nice to Have
- Enrollment in or completion of a degree program (Child Development, Psychology, or related fields)
- Prior experience with kids in any setting (teaching, child care, coaching, etc.)
