Early Childhood Development Therapist

About This Role

This entry-level therapist position at Soar Autism Center involves nurturing the growth of young children with autism by providing personalized one-on-one ABA therapy within a clinic setting. You will collaborate with a team of experts to implement individualized intervention plans, making a positive impact on children's lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 within a clinic setting, utilizing evidence-based, naturalistic therapeutic techniques
• Implement individualized intervention plans developed by expert clinicians in behavior analysis, speech therapy, and occupational therapy
• Collaborate closely with the child's healthcare team to ensure consistent and high-quality care delivery

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children (professional preferred)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficiency in computer and tablet usage
• Reliable transportation to training location and local center
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit/stand frequently, shift positions quickly, sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods, and occasionally run short distances

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a professional capacity

• Backgrounds in psychology, special education, child development, or related fields
