About This Role

Implement individualized treatment plans and provide high-quality, compassionate care to children with autism as a Registered Behavior Technician. This role involves data collection, therapeutic activities, and family communication, all while contributing to the mission of promoting effective and ethical behavior analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Implement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA
  • Collect data on client behaviors and progress
  • Engage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning and development
  • Communicate with families about their child's progress and strategies
  • Assist in developing educational materials and resources
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis

Requirements

  • Active RBT certification or completion of 40-hour RBT training course or work experience as a BT in ABA
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year experience working with children or individuals with special needs
  • Ability to obtain CPR certification before employment start date
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and sit/stand/squat throughout the day
  • Comfortable working fully on-site in a center-based setting

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year experience working with children or individuals with special needs
